HomeAid Phoenix celebrates most successful Seats & Feet donation drive yet
On the morning of May 22nd, amazing volunteers gathered at the V.I.P Mortgage office in Scottsdale to sort and pack all the incredible donations of new socks, underwear, and undergarments for delivery to our nonprofit partners: St. Vincent de Paul, Phoenix Rescue Mission, and Homeless Youth Connection. The annual sorting and packing event marks the official close of the annual event each year.
For three weeks, starting May 1st, HomeAid Phoenix and partnering homebuilding industry companies helped raise more than $22,000 in monetary donations, received dozens of Amazon packages and collected piles of brand-new socks and underwear.
“We are beyond grateful to every single donor, volunteer, and supporter who made this year’s drive a huge success. Your generosity is filling a critical need and making a direct impact in our community” said Cindy Quenneville, Executive Director of HomeAid Phoenix. She added “We also want to acknowledge and thank DollarDays and Conner McCarthy, Account Manager of DollarDays’ Phoenix, Arizona location, for helping us stretch every dollar further—turning generous donations into bulk purchases of brand-new socks and underwear to support those in need.”
