HomeAid Phoenix Receives $10,000 Donation from Movement Mortgage

On January 3rd, HomeAid Phoenix Executive Director, Cindy Quenneville and HomeAid Phoenix Board Member, Matt Lina man (Division President-Starlight Homes) accepted a donation of $10,000 from Movement Mortgage as part of their "GraceWorks" grant program.

Movement Mortgage, a leader in the mortgage industry committed to driving positive changes in communities, with funding from the KM Foundation, owner of the company's preferred AMC, awarded both HomeAid Phoenix and House of Refuge each a $10,000 "GraceWorks" grant. HomeAid Phoenix was nominated by West Division Builder Director, Senior Loan Originator, Christine Madrid, who also volunteers with HomeAid Phoenix on their event committees. HomeAid Phoenix was among thirty-five nationwide winners selected by Movement Mortgage and Karis employees at year end. In 2023, $1.4 million in KM Foundation grants were awarded through nominations by Movement Mortgage teammates. Since the program began, over $6 million has been granted.

Regarding HomeAid Phoenix, Christine Madrid shared, "Empowering HomeAid isn't just a grant-it's a lifeline. It's about constructing more than houses; it's building hope, fostering community, and providing the tools for individuals to rewrite their stories from homelessness to newfound stability."

Movement Mortgage is an Impact Lender. An Impact Lender is defined as a mortgage lender that commits at least 10% of its profits to helping the neighborhoods it serves. Movement provides approximately 40%-S0% of its profits to making an impact in local communities, placing purpose and people before profit.
